I was pondering a passage of scripture, Proverbs 14:12, which reads,
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
Let’s break this down in a simple manner, using the concordance to define the words used. I will now rewrite it to facilitate a deeper understanding.
“There is a (course of life, direction, road, journey, manner of being) that seems (correct, level, pleasing, fitting and straightforward) to a man or woman, BUT the end (conclusion) of that way of thinking, being or doing is DEATH (physical and spiritual) if it does not align with the commands, will and purposes of Yahuah Elohim.”
Many never put their life, thoughts, and actions under the microscope of Yah’s word to determine if “the way” they are going is RIGHT TO GOD ALMIGHTY. Many, including myself at one time, thought I was right & tight, living in the light. NOT! Until you have a complete change of heart and repent of your sins, with great sorrow for hurting the heart of The Most High. You will continue a journey of “SELF-right-ness”. It’s imperative to seek the face of Yah in prayer, fasting, supplication, studying, and meditating on His words. ONLY then will you understand what He calls right (righteousness) and that is what you are to seek and strive for.
