Process for Kingdom Entry

Let’s take a look at the exodus story to understand the requirements for entering into Yah’s promised kingdom land. We know they left Egypt, went through the Red Sea, but what else took place along the journey?

The wilderness route from Mount Sinai in Arabia to Kadesh Barnea near Mount Hor has been calculated to be a journey that could have taken the children of Israel about eleven days, if they had entered in by faith when Yahuah Elohim first led them there. However, in reality, it took them forty years to arrive at their destination as a result of their unbelief, which had its outworking in disobedience. Did ya’ll read that “ELEVEN DAYS’! They went round and round the same mountain, and conditions all because of their own fleshly nature. If we’re honest, how many of us have gone round and round the mulberry bush because of the bad decisions we have made in our lives?

Yahuah Elohim calls us to “Shema” (hear) His Word! (Deuteronomy 6:4) Shema means to hear/listen and obey – not just hearing. It is a hearing of the Word that penetrates a receptive, submissive heart, motivating it to respond in faith and act accordingly, in obedience to the Word given. Doesn’t the scripture say,  But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]. James 1:22

“So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief”. They heard the word but didn’t believe enough to follow it through and through.

Do you know the word unbelief is APEITHEO and does not mean just a passive unbelief, BUT a blatant refusal to believe; an actual unwillingness to be persuaded. It denotes an obstinacy that is based upon a rejection of the will of God. The person's own will is in control, preventing the Word from penetrating and generating faith in the heart to motivate action. After all that they say and heard Yahuah do in Egypt, they still got out in the wilderness and didn’t believe Him.

Hebrews 4:2 states, “But the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

Yahuah Elohim said that their hearts were hard and stony, and His Word could not take root and bring forth fruit. Their unbelief is equated to disobedience because their lack of faith caused His Word to fall on deaf ears, and they did not obey.

PRE-REQUISITES TO ENTER THE LAND

When their flesh had died in the wilderness, they were ready to go into the promised land. Only the overcomers of the previous generation who had believed entered in. ONLY 2, JOSHUA & CALEB. The scripture tells us that all who had sinned died in the wilderness. The word identifies about forty-two stops they made along the journey in the wilderness. Stops of Testing and purging.

Let’s take a moment and ponder that. Also, here are some questions for your personal study time:

  1. What were the testing or stops made along the journey?

  2. When did they stop, and for how long?

  3. What did the stops represent? And what were the lessons at each stop?

  4. Who passed the test and who failed?

This transit through the wilderness in unbelief and defeat gave the enemy power and authority over their lives, and it set a prophetic precedent which a future generation will be required to go through, to inherit the promises. They will be tested in the same areas of the flesh, and they will overcome!!! (Revelation 12:11) We see in the end times that the Beast is given authority to continue for forty-two months and to “tread down the holy city and people”. We see that this is the same period Yahuah Elohim will give to His two witnesses (Is. 43:10-12), who are the end-time overcomers with power over the Beast to exercise His judgments upon it (Revelation 11:2-6; 13:5).

When the children of Israel passed through the Red Sea, they walked through a passage-way of water on either side of them. They walked out of the kingdom of the darkness and gloom and were released from the power of their enemy and his authority over their lives.  The opening of the waters gave them a passage-way from one kingdom to the other. Sort of a symbol of baptism.

After their deliverance from bondage, they went through the wilderness where Yahuah Elohim took them through a process of dealing with their fleshly nature and getting the world (Egypt) out of them.

Many today believe they should just get a pass and go directly into the promise. However, because the promises of The Most High are pure and righteous, one must endure a rigorous cleansing process before entering into a beautiful kingdom. Malachi 3:3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the priests, the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord offerings in righteousness.

Understand, the wilderness is a place of purging the flesh. Yahuah Elohim's principle is that nothing of the flesh can enter, or take part in what is HOLY. His priests had to be sanctified to enter the Tabernacle and the Temple; Also, His people needed to be cleansed before entering into HIS holy land, Israel.

By this same token, TODAY, those who are called to the kingdom must be sanctified from the flesh. There will be a need for those who have died to their flesh to be “renewed” by the Spirit to walk in the “RENEWED COVENANT” relationship with Him (Ezekiel 20:33-38).

Strive for Holiness, Righteousness, and Obedience. Let no one or no thing keep you from your Heavenly Father.
